I watched it last Friday. To me, it was awesome.
There are many reviews that either give it a poor rating or a very good rating. I assume hardcore fans and people who don’t know much about Transformers, won’t like it.
I watched it when I was a little kid, even though I didn’t understand what was being said and what was going on in the cartoons, lol. I still remember having the Optimus Prime toy. Hmmm, I should go find it. May be worth hundreds!
The one scene where I heard Optimus Prime say "Autobots, ROLL OUT!", I felt a strong urge to cheer out "yea!!". This is the best nostalgic moment.
I enjoyed it a lot. Only thing I didn’t like was how they threw some "romance" elements into it.
The last few scenes sort of hinted that there could be part 2. Not surprised when I think of Spiderman and Pirates of the Carribean.
Also, I watched the first 5 episodes of Season 1 of the Transformers cartoon last night. :)
That always bothers me, the whole “put some romance into a movie” bit… especially in a predominantly action movie.
Can’t wait to see it, though… because I (<3) teh action movies… and I’m sure my BF will drag me along. (- -;)
It was a awsome Movie! Was really hoping it wont be such crap like Spiderman3 where you see venom for like 5mins and rest is boring. Here you have Action from the first Minute till the last. Really like the flair of this Movie <3.
