The CDs I ordered from Japan have arrived!!! [XD]
Even though it’s just 4 audio CDs, they feel extra special to me. [X)]
Over exaggerating am I? No. I’m just much too in love with Japan’s culture. [:D]

Today is the first anniversary of my company. It’s also the first day of a new staff, Martin (I guesstimate him to be in his forties), dealing with sales and marketing for my company’s partner. Everyone had a good lunch at Silkroads restaurant at Amara hotels. I had “Sichuan Tan Tan Noodles”. Very delicious, spicy but within my tolerable limits. [XD]
Martin is a funny person and he talks smoothly. He’s the first person from the office that made me laugh with his past office stories.
I just remembered why I disliked people in formal wear (long sleeve, basically office attire). Because when things look bad, even though the smile is the same, it now gives off an aura of hostility. This has got nothing to do with my boss or colleagues. Just an event that happened today.
We finally got to Kazham. Seems like it’s the homeland of the Mithras. Click on the thumbs for a much bigger picture.

As I head back to my Mog House to get stuff before leaving for my flight,
I came across a pretty Red Mage wearing spectacles.

An impressive view of the lands we flew over.

A clearer view during the day. This was our second flight back to Kazham.
We went back to Jeuno to buy a map.

My first death in the Yuhtunga Jungles.
The bard in the background is playing us something from the top20 countdown! lol
I spent most of Sunday fishing. Sold the Bastore Sardines at 800gil a dozen, Quus at 500gil a dozen. They were sold off rather quickly. And I earned around 5000gil that day from just fishing. I needed the gil to buy a second-hand piece of body armour. Fishing skill LV 3!! [XD]
Apart from 20+ log entries belonging to a PacificNet user who refreshed my main page 20+ times every 5 seconds, my blog has been aggressively visited by MSN’s spider. About a total of 150+ requests over the weekend! [8|]
There was a Philips Carnival Sale going on at Philips HQ at Toa Payoh. I went down on Saturday and just as I reached the place, it started to rain [>(]. I quickly ran around drenched, to get my flicker-free desklamp($50) for my room and a vacuum cleaner($95) for my home. Recently our 10+ year old and huge vacuum cleaner broke down. I disassembled it to find the plastic inside had cracked and the power connectors could not come into contact anymore.
The desklamp was great. “I have the sun in my room! Fear me!” kind of great. It didn’t cause my second monitor to flicker when I placed the lamp near it, which the older one did. It had a safety switch at the bottom to cut off the power if it topples over. Flicker-free is also friendly to the eyes.
We ended up selling the vacuum cleaner to my mum’s friend because another friend of hers is giving us a free one. At least I managed to buy what I intended to from this sale in the first place. Rest of the day was spent on FFXI. I’ve got some pretty cool screenshots which I’ll post after lunch.
