  1. I couldn’t find the link that taught this, but I’ll try to describe it as best as I can!

    1) Duplicate a layer of your image
    2) On duplicate layer, apply gaussian blur at about 3.0
    3) On duplicate layer, set the blending to “soft light” or “hard light”, then adjust the opacity of duplicated layer till you’re comfortable with it.
    4) ???
    5) Profit!
